The Mummy Returns AGAIN!

Anyone who's seen the first 2 movies in the Mummy series wouldn't a very serious action flick, or a comical send up of action films. Its a strange mixture of the two - lots of things (usually mummies) blowing up, lots of quirky one-liners, very cliche villans and backstabbers and VERY predictable storylines.
Despite all this, they are very enjoyable turn-the-brain-of movies.
The appeal of this movie is definately 1/ a leaner Brendan Fraser as Rick O'Connell.... yummy (nuff said) and 2/ Jet Li and the Asian Co. As usual, Jet Li says only about 5 words in the whole movie, but has the coolest fighting scene (esp agains Michelle Yeoh). 3/ Asian mummy action - lots of mummies, lots of CG soldiers, lots of fun. And who can forget John Hannah as Jonathan, Eve's brother. Same ol jokes, but funny as ever.
Down side - Maria Bello as Eve... not as much fun as the previous Eve... she just doesnt have that edge. And the chemistry with Rick wasnt the same. Luke Ford as Eve and Rick's son - not an outstanding performance either. Not enough edge either. And little Alex in Mummy 2 was SO cute.
Worth the $$ to see it in the cinema.... big screen, with the subwoofers on extraloud.
oh.. and without giving the plot away... some of the typical taglines
Jonathan Carnahan: [to Rick] You guys are like mummy magnets!
Rick O'Connell: I. Really. Hate. Mummies. Evelyn O'Connell: I think the feeling is mutual.
Jonathan Carnahan: Ah! My ass is on fire! My ass is on fire! Spank my ass. Spank my ass!
